That day
I had remembered you so much
when Dusasana
was undressing Draupadi.
When a woman stretches
Hand upwards for help
My hands get extended
to catch hold of thy hands.
I had given Draupadi
Hundreds of clothes
but I had not been able
to give you one cloth
When Chandrasena disrobed you
And had become a foe
being your husband
Against your innumerable denials
He had raped you disrobing
You had pleaded several time
Do not touch me
Leave me today at least.
Chandrasena was envious then
You had decorated
yourself as if your being
flowered
as if the innumerable stars
in the sky
varieties of flowers
had been decorated on your head.
Having seen
you in happy mood
after so many days
your husband thought......
has Krishna returned really....
It may be true
he has not to be taken to trust either.
Has he not killed me
a hundred times
for my suspicious mind..........

I would like to translate this poem
so well depicted... a different angle.. little explored
