Lovely Nostalgia Poem by Viverite Viss

Lovely Nostalgia

Rating: 3.0

My heart roams in the moments before we broke apart
When our souls were one
You didn't play the role of the Bonaparte
Now I stroll by my lone, in this cold apartment
'Til the world departed
Asking how I could be so retarded to believe your whole hearted
My current disdain towards you
Comes from what this pain is
You stain, my outlook on love
But feel your beat in stainless[? ]
That's shameless, now my brain and heart are both in cages
My sweet act you put on easy like shoes lackin' laces
I said that to say this, I hope you found it entertaining
You played with my thoughts with action or words that you were saying
I'm just saying, you portrayed yourself to be someone you aren't
Which pains me, cause for you I would have traveled the farthest
This feelings the hardest, but I still manage to harness
The strength to overcome this and show it through being an artist
I admit, though I should view you as an enemy
I can't, cause you left me with great memories

Beautiful poem and nice message. Some people come into our lives as lessons to learn from and to prepare us for the future, without them our future may be worse. We cannot hold anything against them but to see them as a necessary part of our lives process
