Madeline Arnold

(20th July 1990 / Rinteln, Germany)

Lover's Lament.

You know my eyes don't shine,
You don't believe when I say I'm fine.
You know me inside out,
So with you I never have to shout.

Lover's lament.
Heart like cement.
I'll be just fine.

I'll stay with you for the rest of time,
As long as you never believe I'm alright.
It's easier to assume I'm dead-
I'm messy, messy in the head.

Lover's lament.
Heart like cement.
I lie all the time.
