Lover's Roulette Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

Lover's Roulette

Rating: 5.0

Everyone feels love differently,
some say it is the worst.
It can be a blessing,
or sometimes be a curse.

The gamble of a chance
with your heart as the prize,
Anxiously waiting
to see if the passion survives.

It does not seem fair
that someone can have that much control
They could set a fire
deep down in your soul.

Love can make you go crazy,
it could make you go mad,
but it could also be
the best feeling you ever had.

Or it can leave you in shambles,
full of dread and regret.
It is a quite the risk you take,
when you play the game of a lover's roulette.
