Loving/Losing Poem by Niya Lloyd

Loving/Losing

Rating: 5.0

When you're no longer wanted.
When the person you love so is
all of a sudden
hell-bent on go,
but before
He never got tired of wanting to stay.
When he no longer responds,
although once upon a time
He used to love the way you called
his name.
When you learn there is another
and you can't put your head around
His sudden interest
to rest inside of her.
When the bed under the covers
becomes your new home
and you enjoy the comfort
that sleeping forever will bring.
Because you were never ready
for this kind of pain.

Niya, Been there, babe. Sucks don't it? I am well aware that there is nothing I can say to make you feel any better. Eventually you will think of him once or twice a day, instead of with every breath. Hang on... Aaron
