Loving You

It wasn't difficult to love you
my heart was yours to keep
you made me shiver
my feelings for you were deep
but you couldn't understand me
you wouldn't even try
so the tears continued to fall
steadily from my eyes
it didnt take long for me
to see that you would leave
all alone, waiting for that call
knowing that we wouldnt be
what we always longed for
the love deep in our hearts
would eventually, unfortunately
tear us both apart
it wasn't difficult to love you
I love you still
everything hurts without you
the pain I feel could kill
but I keep hoping that someday
you will come back to me
though I know it'll never happen
but a girl can dream, can she?

It little profits that an idle king,
By this still hearth, among these barren crags,
Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
