Loving You From Where I Am Poem by Sam Pseudonym

Loving You From Where I Am

I think of you each day and night
I think of how you'd hold me tight
I see your face and hear your laugh
But baby we need more than that

This distance kills my heart each time
when all I need is you by my side
Every love song I hear
and every chorus I sing out
makes my emotions for you
radiate throughout

you make me want to be
the best me I can be
I smile when I think of you
and my stomach feels like it's got wings

it's baffling to feel this way
To love you so strongly
someone who has touched my heart
and touched my soul
but whose touch I've never felt.

An insightful piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned from the heart with conviction. A good depiction of mighty feeling of love experienced by many online dating couples. Thanks for sharing Sam. Please read my poem THE OBSESSIVE AGONY OF LUST.
