Your daddy will sing you a lullaby

as you close your eyes to sleep

he will be there when you start to cry

to protect you from the beast



you are the angel of his heart

and you can hear his heart beat to your tune

he will sail so near and so far

just to make sure life gets you through



did you know angels came from heaven that day

when your father first saw you

with a big smile of joy and tears on his face

the spoon could of been jumping over the moon
