Lying Laluby Poem by Aurora Ulch

Lying Laluby

Rating: 4.5

I thought this was love
I thought we were friends
I guess you weren't lying when you said
I'll take you to the very end

Come to me and whisper
Sweet words that'll fill my ear
To bad the lies had to end
To bad the truth had appeared

I'd sit and play pretend
If I didn't know the truth
Maybe it wouldn't hurt so bad
Bc my tears are like the raining on the roof

Never knew I could be wounded so badly
It's like you smile while I cry
Never knew you'd cause the end of me
So you smile while I die

Fictional and make believe
That's what this all seems to be
How can you pretend you cant see
All this pain you've given me

I'm sitting at my funeral
I feel I must've died
The fake truth and deceiving talk
I'm stuck with your lying laluby

You remind me too much of a girl I treated horribly. Your poems are scarily relatable. I think that adds to the power of your writing. You are truly talented.
