Mabey i should quit these
smokey bars and these
love filled boys that
sit in them
looking for the special girl
who is there soulmate
reflected in the whiskey,

Mabey I should quit taking them home with me,
to make love in my starry eyed room,
with all the candles lit,
then perhaps they couldnt confuse
my empty needs with romance,

I am not like these dreamy eyed boys,
I am like a panther hunting for something
Hollow to bury my sorrow in,

the whiskey and beer are there
least i try to forget
to swallow the pain
of so many ghost lovers,

I cant compare them to you
so distant and far away
mabey I should stop using your body
as a hollow tube i feel with memory.
