Madonna Of The Subway - Poem by thomas mofford

Gypsy woman with a baby
Astride her legs as a varicose vein
Right hand full of coins
Left hand outstretched as a sea anemone.
Panhandles so Gypsy's ways can stay.
Firm Foundation for Future.
