Maintenance Of Dignity I (Debt) Poem by Nation Sir LongFreeman

Maintenance Of Dignity I (Debt)

To be just or and thus, to be honest
Is to see esteem as fragile a being
Prone to nice but ever demeaning zest
Making new debts worthy of keying
As our vow to pay searches our repute
Looking out for, when our words shall be kept
And our proclaimed trust resound like a flute
Lest our honour yields making us inept
And wavy reaching out again for aid;
Thus duly, prior to your wage’s total
As you own up to be judged and surveyed,
Weaving your well-known debit proposal,
Borrow to pay each time payment is due
While seeking your own dawn of triumph to rule
