Maker/Breaker Poem by Ima Ryma

Hundreds of folks involved in crime,
Loads of defendants in lawsuits.
For assault, a few have done time.
Spousal abuse done by some brutes.
A bunch of company bankrupts,
Shoplifting and writing bad checks,
Assorted fraudulent corrupts,
Loads of such smarts, as in alecks.
Many picked up for drunk driving,
Failing to pass lawful drug test.
Criminal intent be their thing,
Laws broken and under arrest.

We the People should balk, because
These Congress people pass the laws.
