Making Me Stronger. Poem by Kayla Bryant

Making Me Stronger.

So innocent, so fragile
Yet taken away so quick.
He didn't deserve to die,
his family didn't deserve this.
God does things in the world,
to make us stronger.
That little baby is an angel in heaven,
and he's looking down on his family.
I didn't really know him,
but I pray that he's happy.
Only five months young,
unfortunately his last.
So innocent, so small,
yet taken away so fast.
Small hand in God's,
an angel sent to Earth.
A gift to his beautiful mother,
to show them what life is worth.
It's painful to lose a loved one,
but eventually we become stronger.
The cuts so deep at first,
but in the end it hurts no longer.
A little baby in heaven,
an angel in disguise,
free from pain, roaming the clouds.
And perfect in God's eyes
