Making Memories Poem by Shivi Gupta

Making Memories

Half remembered dreams,
Recurring unclear faces.
People stuck in my head,
Losing control thread by thread.

Focusing at the destination,
Inspiring the inspiration.
Killing time tick tock tick.
Trying hard not be 'that' brick.

The thoughts that crossed my mind,
The smiles hidden in the rind.
The words that didn't feel right,
The intentions that did fright.

The group hugs, and hi fives,
Barging in all the friendly hives.
The resonance of laughter,
The company of that lovely daughter.

The celebrations of achievement.
Sulking the disappointment.
Enjoying the forever company.
Even lost, its my destiny.
