പ്രതീക്ഷയുടെ
അവസാനത്തെ തരികളെ
ഉപജീവിച്ച്
ശ്വാസശൈഥില്യങ്ങളുടെ
നേർത്ത ചരടിൽ
കാൽ വിരലൂന്നി
അടുത്തടുത്തു വരും
കാലൊച്ച കേട്ട് കൊണ്ട്
മങ്ങിമറയും
സുബോധത്തിന്റെ
നേർമ്മതയിൽ
ഉണർവിനും
ഉറക്കത്തിനും മദ്ധ്യേ
നീണ്ട് നീണ്ടോ-
രുറക്കത്തിനാൽ ചൂടിയന്ന
മൃദുത്വം നിറച്ച
ശയ്യയെന്കിലും
വേദനിക്കുമസ്ഥികൾ
ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ
ഇടറിയ വെട്ടത്തിൽ പോലും
മഞ്ഞളിച്ചു പോകും
എരിയുമീ മിഴികൾ.
