Mama was my angel
Her touch to me was gentle,
Her voice was soft and mild,
Mama was my angel,
And I her loving child.
Her love for me was pure,
So precious and so dear,
Mama was my angel,
Who washed away each tear.
The gift of life she gave me,
Cared for me like no other,
Mama was my angel,
And a dear and precious Mother.
Her life on earth is now over,
But I still love her as before,
Mama was my angel,
Is now and for evermore.
