Man United Till I Die Poem by Johnny Eardley

Man United Till I Die

Rating: 4.3

As a kid it was my dream,
To play on that sacred turf,
To score a goal in the stretford end,
Double or treble my worth.

As a teen it was my aim,
To play with Bruce or Pally,
The heart of Uniteds great defence,
That would've been up my ally.

In my 20s I could only hope,
To get some kind of break,
Everyone said you're now to old,
That was hard to take.

Now I'm in my 30s,
Ive would still love to try,
I dont care how old I get,
I'm United till I die.
