Manifesto Poem by Charles Malcolm

Manifesto

I am fine
with this blood
but will not tuck fading photographs
of my aging face
into frames of rented mirrors

waiting to disappear.

I swear
to everything
unholy
I will take you
with me.

Fast
and forever.

For the ruins
and because you asked.
