Many Good People I Know Poem by Francis Duggan

Many Good People I Know

Most sins against us we can surely forgive
But I do love the truth in live and let live
Many good people I know and I meet every day
For to help others out they go out of their way
The people who help those who are feeling down
Who live uncelebrated as the unsung of the town
To the higher self they remain ever true
And only the best of karma they are due
For them there will never be a parade
They perform their good deeds then to the background fade
Though some hope to the lives of poor battlers they do bring
They do not need others their praises to sing
These wonderful people I feel privileged to know
And my admiration for them only does grow.
