You caught me off guard,
Popping into my life again,
I know I’ve missed you,
You’ve been lurking in my brain.

Time after time,
I’ve been wondering where you are
You left no mark,
Not even a tiny scar.

But after so many months,
What do you want me to say?
Do you expect me to cry?
Or to say it’s all okay?

I’m glad you’re back,
No doubt about it,
But after so many months,
Have you missed me one bit?
