Mar Jaani (Punjabi)

mar jani,
na nawa siyapa paveen
koi chan na nawa charhhaveen!
beparda ho ke na tu
kothay uttay aaween
lakh balavaan aggay pichay
sajjay khabbay uttay thallay
dayllay kholay phirdiyaan nein
tainoo vekh k kidhray koi
jin na aashiq ho jaaye
bethay bithayay kidray koi
nawa puwaara na pay jaaye
tu kuundh kad ke aaya kar
lashkara husn da rakh k ghar
akhyaan nadeediyaan hondian nay
pa layndian ne husn noo'n japhhay!
mar jani tu samjhaya kar
ghuut ke rakh tu husn de par
bahar shikari phirday nay
bulbulaan noo'n labhday nay
aina dee nazraan toan tu dar
khula tamasha chutt te na kar!
