Marimus Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Marimus

Of my labours and of my hardships,
Labouring day and night to make ends meet;
But i long to meet you face to face one day,
For i have my love to share with you.

Spirit, soul and body;
She will do it and he will do it as well!
But i am Marimus in the land of workers,
And like the hardships being faced in the name of labour.
