Maroon Poem by C. Bake Baker

Maroon

Redemption, however soiled by the truth,
must sometimes be remembered

Our mistakes in life help us progress,
they give us the pain needed to move on.

Separation often leads to sacifice and envy,
realization of life and death, love and shame.

Wanting what we lost, even thogh we shouldn't
Facing a life time of reliving our losses.

No endings to this. Life is enternal.
Our suffering is never-ending.

Left us slogging through hell, lost and afraid
and loving our brothers like kings in heaven.
