Mary, The Sun Will Shine For You Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

Mary, The Sun Will Shine For You

Rating: 5.0

Mary, the sun will shine for you
Wherever you may go
I know that angels will be there,
To comfort you and lead you from all pain
And they shall always keep you
So safe within their care.

Mary, the stars will glow for you
Wherever you may go
I'll always be there by your side,
For in the darkness I can see your light
That will lead me to your love
And reaches far and wide.

Mary, I need you in my life
There are no words
That I can use to say just how I feel,
Without you now I'd know I'd never cope
For my fragile broken heart
Could never truly heal.

Mary, I hope that you'll be mine
Now and forever
Through our lives into eternity,
Please care for me just like I care for you
And then I shall know our love
Was always meant to be.

When I started to read this poem, I thought it might be religious - with Christmas coming and all - but after a couple of stanzas, I realized that the subject of your beautiful poem was a much more personal one. Wistful, tenderhearted verse by one who wears his heart on his sleeve - magnificently. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
