Masks Poem by charlotte harris

Masks

wow you really thought i was smart,
maybe at numbers at words,
but you may have noticed,
i get an f at life,
and friendships,
i wear my masks,
because what if you didn't like
what you saw,
underneath.
but he doesn't like masks,
so they're in the bin,
again,
and when we return you'll see me,
and yes i may not get an a+,
but i don't care anymore
because its my life,
so as long as its me,
i always pass
