Maundy Thursday Poem by Lewisw Findley

Maundy Thursday

Bread and wine
Washing of feet
Some say the washing of feet goes too far
Some say Easter is worship of the eastern star
Some say actual body and blood of the master
Are they confused? They know not what they are after
Tisvcommunion evening. what has become known as supper last
When Christ foretold from this world he would a while pass.
But he returned for 40 days over deaths morbid grave
His own to claim forever. Forever his own to save.
