Maybe Poem by Alc Harris

Maybe

Rating: 4.0

Sometimes you just want to
Go grab a cab
Take me anywhere
Anywhere but here
Take me so far I forget my name
Into a Thursday where nothings the same
With noone to reach me
Maybe Ill fly
Into the stars perhaps
Dance on a high
As light as the clouds
Adorning the blue
To settle to earth as glass drops of dew
Till it fades
And I say,
don’t stop here in this street
I don’t recognise the name
The houses look empty, all them the same
Except for the music,
But I don’t remember that tune
Maybe, just maybe, I came down too soon.
