Maybe
Maybe it will happen,
like in my dreams,
what I feel is more than I thought
so it seems.
Maybe all it takes is one sight
for emotions to fly,
all I know is I
cannot say good-bye.
Maybe it will happen,
just as they say,
maybe, just maybe,
it will someday.
Maybe I won't ever understand
this feeling I hold,
but what I know is
my heart is no longer cold.
Maybe this is right
maybe it's wrong,
but how can you tell,
from a silly song?
Maybe it meant something,
when you asked me to dance,
maybe it meant
that this is my chance.
Maybe I'm foolish
for believing all this,
or will it last
like the sun's rays' kiss?
