Perhaps in the future you'll find someone
maybe that person will be number one
and if you love them and don't cry or run
maybe your life will be true

Maybe your future will grow like wild flowers
perhaps you'll grow strong in the sun and the showers
take care of the moments the minutes and hours
and maybe your life will be true

It's quite compelling how life drifts along
the moments you live for are soon quickly gone
the times that are trying seem to go on and on
you adapt, you remember and try something new

You've only one life try to be all you can
don't be afraid when you don't understand
knowledge brings light to the darkness of man
and maybe your life will be true.
