Me Poem by lorissa cowan

Me

Rating: 2.0

I scream your name,
Forgetting the pain,
I looked away,
As they take you away.

I sit by your side,
And take your hand,
I was in pain,
But I made it go away.

The doctors say,
I was in pain,
But I wouldn’t leave you.

I was taken away,
To get rid of the pain,
But I knew it wouldn’t leave me.

I stood there and sighed,
Knowing you were right,
If we didn’t steal that car,

I would be still alive….
