Me Poem by chantel weston

Me

the wind
rips through the trees
the thunder growls
and the lightning blinds.
A monster
rises up out of the ground
its eyes so empty
that they seem to swallow you
teeth so sharp
that they could shred you
and hands so large
that they could cover the sun.
The monster
makes no sound
yet there is the sound
of a thousand suffering screams
coming from it.
It has no heart
just a red glowing space
where it should be,
the monster reaches out
and trys to touch you.
You jump back
to try and get away
what ever you do
DONT LET IT TOUCH YOU.
This monster rips out your heart
and trys to take it for its self
trys to replace
its missing heart with
your bearly beating one.
