Me And The Roses Poem by narinder singh

Me And The Roses

Here I am, standing lost
With the Reminiscences still frost
Calling you once you're gone
And I am once again left alone
With the tears on your grave
And to face the truth, not so brave
Crying loudly when the world dozes
Because it’s just me and the roses

Flowing with the winds from my door
Leaving the memories on the floor
Searching for you to the way
Looking for the heart, to stay
So just touch me and I will know
The place where you go
As every road to you slowly closes
Because it’s just me and the roses

Here I am standing in blue
Wishing if I could come to you
Waiting for an angel to call
Or my breaths to fall
Loved you now and then
But I can’t wait for the years again
As I want to be with you, my heart imposes
Because it’s just me and the roses
