Meant To Be
What happened? Was it meant to be,
For you to set my spirit free?
I thought that love had passed me by,
and hid from life, afraid to try.
I felt so different from the rest,
and thought that I had failed life's test.
Then entered you, a man so real,
and now my heart begins to feel.
So when I cried, as I read your poem,
it's because no longer I feel alone.
