Go make up yuh bed an clean yuh room,
mop d floor an pick up ah broom,
meh mammy wud yell.
Wash d didhes den feed d fishes,
comb yuh hair an act like yuh care,
meh mammy wud preach.
But at d end of d day i wud gladly say,
even though she wud yell,
ah cud still tell,
dat she is d bes,
an no odda cud pas d tes.
