Singing, am I singing?
Or is this the cry of my soul?
Just a flashback of yesterdays
Digs in me, a deep hole.

Tomorrow, will it come?
Or will I be lost today?
When the whole world is dark
And I ain't finding a way.

Joys, why don't they last?
When sorrows linger to leave?
Perhaps, someone someday I'd find
Who'd shower me with relief.

He, will he love me?
Or just show his sympathy?
I'd wait for the answer till
He actually comes to me.

Till then, I am singing
