Mementos Poem by Nikhat Bano

Mementos

Beneath the creases of time
you'll find my hidden fragments;
Some are buried under darker layers
some are basking in shiny moments.

Place your palm on my heart
feel the beats, my testimonials to love;
We've won in treasuring fond memories
amid the tempests of time, my dove!

This ring on my finger is a memento
will remain intact until my closing date;
It's touch has infused royal ink inside,
running through my veins, sealing my fate.
