Memories
We all have memories
Some good some bad
The bad memories we hide away
The good memories are there as a shield
Bad memories come in dreams
When our self control is not there
When we lay in bed at night all alone
They rush up and take us with fear
Good memories make us smile
We give them strength to suppress the bad things
We bring them out when we feel down
They hug us protecting our very being
Life is made up of good and bad memories
Like the Chinese symbol Yin and yang
Where there is good there must be bad
Life must be balanced
