Memory Poem by Mrityunjay Jha

Memory

Rating: 5.0

It's been ages I lost your presence
in my physical existence
our walks together
sitting on the ghats
of the river Ganges
watching the birds fly
making their reflection in the water
we often touched and sprinkled upon each other.
we were young believing
innocently the power of the river water
to carry the bond forever.

Now I am sitting on the same ghats alone
without you
only your memories giving me company.
In the end life becomes an archive of memories.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
