Memory Poem by Gina Gifford

Memory

can i run from a memory
trying not to be remembering
tears streaming down my face
memorys i hope to replace

why cant it all be a dream
so it will be as it seemed
every thing you said was a lie
it fell apart in the blink of an eye

every look, touch, word we shared
i really thought you cared
now just walk, walk away
leave my life, thoughts in disarray
