Beneath the flickering darts of warming sun
Dancers sway with an amore that blushes
Mesmerized by song… blending into one
With the gentle strokes of harmonizing brushes

She wore a vivid orange hat with a wide brim
She turned a shy cheek wantingly away from him
His sculpted face came nearer as they embraced
The steps of the dance were enchantingly traced

Faint music plays in the distant grove of yesterdays
Now barren branches are surrounded by a soft haze
A man dressed in black has recollections that sing…
Glowing images resound with pastel hues of spring
