Messed Up Poem by WR. Dutton

Messed Up

I've already messed up
I broke the first rule
A player never cares
Everyone else plays the fool

But I found an amazing girl
Beautiful, Intelligent and sweet
Her chemistry and mine combine
to create an extroidinary heat

I've played every woman
that I've ever had
I even tried to play my love
A mistake while i was mad

Never again will i betray
her love and her trust
For to see the pain in her eyes again
will make me turn to dust

It almost killed me to see her face
ever so striken with grief
To know that i caused that sorrow
with her heart i was a thief

Now we are back together
not quite so perfect of great
That is all my fault though
because I betrayed my mate
