Metaphysical.........
we who are the owners
of the sky
have fears now, the dragons
can fly and can
steal the moon and the stars
the iguana
can swallow the sun and the universe
has become nothing but
a grain of sand, minuscule granule
of shattered glass like
gnarled horizon, multi-pleated
space, breathing gravitation,
wave upon wave, we are an hour dead
from the past.
