Meth Poem by Katie Moar

Meth

Life ruined by one decision
As you reached out your hand
Taking what they had to offer
Shrivelling to their command

You never really thought
That you would get addicted
Now your world is all your own
Completely knotted and twisted

Everyone around you
Gives you a nasty glare
Wondering what you did last night
And why they stop and stare

You hear your name called
By a man dressed in blue
He says 'come with me'
I could see you already knew

'You are arrested for murder'
He said as he put the cuffs on you
I thought I knew you well
But i really had no clue
