Metropolis Poem by M.W. Ketchel

Metropolis

bright neon light
pierces the dark grey shroud
the will of the gods are flashed
from the pinnacles of dark monoliths
while in the depths
the multitude
pay homage
gods view the swarm
scurrying below
on the watch
searching for a trace of rebellion
as neon flashes in the night
just a reminder.
