and so much grief
the whole world shocked
and in disbelief
The King of Pop
will be laid to rest
after suffering it seems
a cardiac arrest.

Such a turbulent life
in the media gaze
a great following of
the 'Michael Jackson' craze
The music and dance
he excelled in so much
so many hearts
he reached out to touch.

His music lives on
in those he inspired
a spark of creation
in their hearts he has fired
so the music doesn't end
it will not cease
