Milk Poem by Eleni Cay

Milk

You no longer remember
When you tasted colours, felt sounds,
capering from one cloud to another one,
not desiring anything, not missing anyone,
mesmerised by the sheer beauty
of snowflakes.

You no longer remember
when you drank sweetness
with no thought, no judgment.

The world of babies remains secret,
living inside you.
