Mincing Words Poem by RAJ NANDY

Mincing Words

It is easier to say what you think,
Than to mean what you say;
For you must practice what you
preach,
As you often heard being said, -
Examples being better than precepts
always!

Words once spoken, is like an egg
broken,
Which like Humpty Dumpty cannot, -
Be put togther again!
So be careful of the slip,
Of the tongue or the pen, -
For the better;
And never mince your words,
For that matter!
And for those talkative lot,
This must be told,
Speech is silver,
And silence is gold!

In a good poem, you may often
find,
Words need not always rhyme,
But the thought content must be
sublime!
Words can calm, soothe or even
hypnotise, -
A forceful drug for all mankind!

Yet men donot live by words alone,
Though at times, they may be forced, -
To eat their very own!
And finally before I end,
Remember this my good friends,
Kind Words can never die,
And their echoes forever reverberates
through time and space;
For these words the good Lord bless!

This one is good, and you certainly have not minced any words.
