Miracles Can Happen Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Miracles Can Happen

Miracles Can Happen

People dies
we know why,
People comes
and people goes,

those are the basis freedoms,
We're entitled to,

Freedoms with the suns,
freedoms to cavort on the beach
on good weathers,
as good father,
caring mothers,a united family,

These simple instructionscalled life,
Indispensablefor the movements,

Imagine how irretrievable change,
We are witnessing today,
where everywhere, every hour, everyone's imperiled,

we are hindered by police barricades,
basic necessities curbed,
with quarantine signswarnings,

people hiding behind doors,
andtold to stay home,
People arrestedand even
killed for disobedience,

Their innocence challenged
about this unknown virus,
New versions of our modern world.

an ingenios enemy.a nightmare with second wave transmission,
Sometimes lucky escapees. most usually dying mysteriously.
with no vaccine
It takes so longfor a cure to happen,
If at all We're saved in the nick of time.
