Mirage

Suffering in a dry heat wave,
you turn a landscape painting
upside-down
and convince yourself
that the sky is water.
You spread it about
that that made you cool.
You're painted as a fool.

To your rescue comes
Kumar Mahakul's manna:
the raw mango drink,
in Hindi, aam panna.
